Terms & Conditions

Please read carefully. By participating in the auction or entering the premises you agree to these terms.

AS-IS, WHERE-IS\ Sale

All vehicles are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS with no guarantees or warranties expressed or implied. Angelos Towing offers no guarantees. All sales are final. Do not place bids if you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Participation Rules

• Buyers must be 18 years or older to bid.
• No minors or pets are allowed on premises.
• A valid government‑issued photo ID is required to register and bid.

Inspection & Auction Times

• Inspection: Fridays from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM (1 hour only).
• Auction Start: Fridays at 3:00 PM sharp.
• Buyers are responsible for all due diligence prior to bidding, including physical inspection, verifying paperwork, and checking history reports.

Deposits & Payments (In‑Person Bidding)

• Immediate non‑refundable deposit required after winning bid: $300 minimum per winning vehicle. Higher deposits may be required on larger purchases.
• Final balance must be paid in full by Monday at 5:00 PM following the auction.
• Strict deadline: Failure to pay the balance by Monday at 5:00 PM results in deposit forfeiture (applies to both in‑person and online bidders).
• Accepted payment methods: Cash only.
• Not accepted: Zelle, checks, money orders, credit cards, or ACH transfers for vehicle payments.

Buyer’s Fees

• Flat Buyer’s Fee: $150 per vehicle.
• Gate Fee: 3% of the final sale price.
• Fees are added to the winning bid price.

Vehicle Removal & Storage

• Angelos Towing does not provide vehicle storage.
• Vehicles must be removed immediately after payment.
• Angelos Towing is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage once the vehicle is sold.

Vehicle Information & Paperwork

• Angelos Towing is not responsible for errors in vehicle year, make, model, mileage, or printed listings.
• Vehicles 10 years or older are sold as TMU (True Mileage Unknown) unless otherwise announced.
• Paperwork may not be available the same day. Seller has a reasonable period to provide it after payment clears.
• Buyer is responsible for all DMV and emissions fees and must complete transfer, registration, and taxes with the DMV.

Online Bidding – Deposit Policy

Minimum Deposit Requirement

A refundable $500 deposit is required to activate online bidding privileges.
This deposit grants buying power up to $10,000(10% deposit‑to‑buying power ratio).

Payment Method & Clearing Time

We only accept ACH or bank transfers for deposits. Depending on your bank, it may take up to 5 business days to clear and reflect in your account balance.

Refund Eligibility

Deposits are fully refundable if no bidding activity or purchases occur within 7 calendar days of placing the deposit, and the account has no pending payments or unpaid invoices.

Forfeiture Policy

If an invoice is not paid in full by Monday at 5:00 PM, the deposit will be forfeited and applied toward administrative or cancellation costs. Non‑compliance may result in restrictions, forfeiture of funds, or suspension of bidding privileges.

Usage of Online Deposits

Online deposits cannot be applied to vehicle purchase price. They are used strictly to establish bidding eligibility.

Refund Processing

Refund requests submitted before 11:00 PM Pacific Time will be processed the next business day. Banks typically take 5–7 business days to return funds.

Auction Yard Rules

• Ensure you are bidding on the correct vehicle. If you are the highest bidder, you must complete the purchase.
• Failure to pay or refusal to complete the purchase will result in deposit forfeiture and loss of future bidding privileges.
• Test drives are not allowed.
• Tampering with vehicles (removing keys, parts, or altering mechanical components) is prohibited and may result in prosecution under California Penal Code 594 (vandalism).
• The auctioneer reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or withdraw any vehicle at its discretion without liability.

Legal & Liability Release

By entering the premises or participating in the auction, buyers and attendees release Angelos Towing, its owners, staff, and affiliates from liability for personal injury, loss, or property damage. Attendees assume all risks associated with participation.
